What is your life like? Is it beautiful? Are you happy with what you see? If you’re not happy, what would it have to look like for you in order to be beautiful? Henry David Thoreau said, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” The truth is, there is beauty in your life if that’s what you see. For example, I have a two bedroom apartment for just my two beautiful little girls and I. It is filled with love, laughter, happiness, and is a place of peace. It’s simple and beautiful. Perfect for my babes and I. Sure, I want a big beautiful home, a man that I’m passionately in love with by my side, another baby on the way, I want to be an New York Times best selling author, and I want security for my family. Even though I don’t have those things yet, my life is still beautiful and I live it beautifully. I live it beautifully because I am grateful.
Are you grateful? Are you grateful for where you are although you may not be where you want to be? Are you living beautifully? These are important questions to ask yourself because we get ONE life. This is not a practice run. Here. Now. In this very moment is all that matters. Live your life beautifully because this is all there is. Live your life beautifully because you are beautiful. Live your life beautifully because you matter. Live your life. Beautifully.
