The Mind Body Connection
Do you know that your body hears everything that your minds says? There is a mind body connection and it’s so important for you to think positively about your body and of yourself. What do you think about yourself? Are you loving, patient, and kind towards who you are? Or are you negative, judgmental, and not self confident? I have to be honest and say that that was me. At one point in my life, I had low self-esteem, was critical of my looks, negative about many issues in my life, and I didn’t love who I was. Let me repeat, I did not love myself. That is what it really came down too. Self love means a deep regard for one’s own well being. And when you have a deep regard for who you are, your mind should have a different connection with your body.
When I started to make changes mentally, I responded differently to my body. I embraced my so called flaws, I stopped being so critical of myself, and my all around attitude changed for the better. Your mind and your body need to be the best of friends. One should encourage the other. Your body should nourish your mind and your mind should nourish your body. They go hand in hand.
